I''m Dr. Danielle Schultz
I am a K-12 Certified School Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Duquesne University. I proudly serves as a middle school counselor and school counseling department chair in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA.
Over my 14-year career, I have been active and passionate about leveraging technology as a means to connect, engage, and inspire school counselors across the greater US and beyond. I am the originator and author of School Counselor Blog (www.schcounselor.com), co-creator of the #scchat hashtag, bringing together school counselors to support each other and share their experiences, presenter at numerous local, state, and national conferences, and a contributing author to the ASCA School Counselor Magazine and the ASCA e-newsletter.
This year, you can find me presenting two sessions in person at the ASCA National Conference in Atlanta, GA, in addition to speaking roles at multiple state and local conferences. In my free time, I enjoy frequenting local parks, museums, and the Pittsburgh Zoo with my husband and our three rambunctious children.
